Hi there!,

I'm a freelance children's illustrator of over fifteen years. I've illustrated over fifty books and I have also worked on puzzles, prints and greeting cards.

I have always had a passion for children book art and studied a BA Hons in Illustration and Graphic Design at De Montfort University, Leicester.

Not long after graduation I started work at a greeting card publisher as a studio assistant. Within two years I was managing the studio, which involved a lot of running up and down stairs, and overseeing oodles of design.

Fast forward... *ahem* ...some years and I decided to give it all up to look after my kids, and try working for me again. I haven't looked back, and I'm more excited than ever about where my work is going.

My clients include: Andersen Press, Chronicle Books, Make Believe Ideas, Oxford University Press, Bloomsbury, Little Pickle Press, Early Learning Centre, Tigerprint, Miles Kelly, Caterpillar Books, Babybug Magazine.

This year my first author/ illustrator book Ten on the Bus is published! Yippee!

I love working in collage, cutting up bits of magazines, newspapers, painted papers, anything really, and finishing in Photoshop to clear up all the messy bits. I work from my home studio in Leicestershire, with Bowie the dog, two crazy cats, tons of coffee, and good tunes..
